Welcome to my website. I take pictures of nature as well as posed ones in the studio. I also like to experiment and try out various techniques, in Stuttgart as well as on trips.
It is the process of taking pictures that fascinates me. My reasons for choosing a subject are varied: sometimes I spot an interesting subject for a photograph by chance. At other times I visualize a composition before I set the scene for the actual photograph.
I ‘m not very keen on photoshopping. I plan my pictures very carefully and try not to have to manipulate much afterwards. But I do usually take the pictures in the raw format so I can adjust brightness, contrast and colors in a raw converter.
I started taking pictures at the age of ten. In the beginning I had an analog camera. My photographic skills improved over time. Now I’ve even started to develop my own films. In the last few years I’ve learned a lot and I use better equipment and more advanced techniques.
Working with models is something special to me. I don’t hire any models but ask friends if I can take pictures of them. It is the personality of these people that I am fascinated by. On the one hand I try to capture their typical characteristics and make use of their special abilities. On the other hand I have ideas of what I want to express. I then look for people who fit into my project and who like my ideas: these models have a special charisma which is transported through the pictures.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped me with my photo projects. Firstly, I would like to mention the models without whom a lot of my projects could not have been realized. Then I would like to say thank you again to all the other friends who have helped behind the scenes or looked at my pictures and given inspiring feedback. And of course to those who took pictures together with me, including The Photo Group from the University of Stuttgart. I also want to thank my family, who has supported and still is supporting me a lot, especially my mom. Furthermore thanks to Eva for designing the cute logo and thanks to Flo for taking the picture of me for my website!
